The greetings card is printed in red and black onto premium quality off-white acquerello card and comes with a brown kraft envelope and a protective compostable cellophane bag.
This depiction of Baphomet plays with a combination of some of our favourite motifs: the flaming heart, the fire between the horns, the balance and complexity of Baphomet’s representation as both human and animal, male and female, spirit and matter, and wild and civilised. It’s our humble opinion that too many modern interpretations of Baphomet lose the essence of their being by forgoing these subtleties, so whilst this Baphomet is based on an original Hedgebound lino print, it is inspired by an image from French occultist Éliphas Lévi.
