All-Seeing Heart Blue and White sgraffito folk vine designs

The all seeing anatomic heart with the eye is a theme that's returned to often in our creations, most notably as it is a symbol of protection.  The anatomic heart is a symbol of sincere and pure love, be it platonic, intimate or self.  The eye represents omniscience, clairvoyance and a gateway to the soul, as well as it's most ancient representation as a protective symbol. This heart's folk art design was created by a form of sgraffito where the underglaze on dry bisque is scratched into to create the vine pattern then coated in a transparent glaze and fired again to 1220C. 

Each piece is hand sculpted, and hand glazed in our small pottery studio in the heart of Lancashire.  Each piece is slightly different in size and weight and decoration as no moulds is used in its creation.  Each will have small imperfections due to it's hand made nature and being glazed on both top and bottom as they are fired on stilts which fuses to the glaze.  They are made from stoneware clay manufactured in England, not mass produced resin pieces created in moulds and produced over seas.

Some people use them in their ritual practices and to affirm intent, but as with all magically created items we must state that they are for entertainment purposes only and can offer no guarantees.
