‘God Jul’ is the Scandinavian version of ‘Merry Christmas’ and to our ears it sounds somehow more revelrous, so we snaffled it for our Lord of Misrule’s greeting. He is representing the Holy King, drunk as a lord and sat merrily astride a black goat with all the devilry that the image conjures. This was created by our Lola who has far more patience than me when it comes to fine lining, detailing, perspective… well let’s be honest, she’s much better at drawing!
