Cream Horned Spirit Totem Labyrinth

This pinky-cream with blue speckles spirit totem, as with almost every piece here at Hedgebound England, is completely unique. Individually handmade at every stage, from a ball of raw clay (no moulds), fired twice and covered in a unique cocktail of glazes that are nigh on impossible to reproduce thanks to a combination of chemistry, kiln gods and no record keeping! We think this gives them their own spirit and personality in the same way every tree, flower, pebble and creature is so very different. On its front there is a labyrinth, symbolising the journey of life, spiritual pilgrimage and the path to self-discovery. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth isn’t designed for confusion and dead ends; a true labyrinth features a single, winding path that leads safely inward to the centre and back out again.
