Sgraffito Folk art Plate Krampus

This folk art plate is decorated in sgraffito and harks back to earlier English pottery designs and European folk traditions with out actually replicating them.  Krampus strides out with his bag of terrified naughty children in the run up to Christmas.  This plate has been created with the soul purpose of improving obedience in the under 8 years of age  category ; ) 

This plate is completely made by hand, and has deliberately been given the handmade vintage feel; it does not and nor is it meant to resemble a mass produced item.  The design is a one off and has been painted on in underglaze by hand then carved into from beginning to end.

This piece makes an ideal gift for the cantankerous Christmas haters, the badly behaved small child in your life, or the Krampus enthusiasts.
